1960 Burns Sonic Transparent Red

1960 Burns Sonic Transparent Red

A bit of a rarity, the Burns Sonic was only released for a few years in the early 1960s, and failed to catch on like other models released by Burns, no doubt due to its peculiar body shape. Without a doubt, one of the few guitars where the headstock is the same length as the body. Neck feels super comfy in hand, with a pronounced roundness to the radius.

Outside of a replacement bridge, this example is original and features an awesome set of Burns Tri-Sonic pickups, perhaps best associated with the one and only Brian May. These pickups sound excellent!

Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action. Includes original hard case.
