1960s Silvertone 1448 'Amp-in-Case' Black

1960s Silvertone 1448 'Amp-in-Case' Black

The '60s were a time of experimentation and innovation, and this 'amp-in-case' offering from Silvertone is no exception!

Produced by Danelectro for Sears and Roebuck department stores, the 1448 was a great offering for those starting their guitar journey back in the '60s. The guitar itself features a uniquely offset body and at a smaller scale length, with all the uniquely Danelectro design hallmarks present. The amp itself is quite a fun, low-wattage valve practise amp which makes for a fun pairing! Hardware on the electric appears to be all original, and the original lipstick sounds exceptional.

Hardware and electronics are functional, and the electric plays well with a low action.
