1972 Greco S-50 Sunburst

Channel your best Joe Pass impression with this hollowbody from Greco!

The Greco S-50 appeared in catalogues in the early 1970s, and featured specifications aiming to replicate the ES-175 model from Gibson. Dated from the original set of Maxon pickups present, this example is from 1972. Boasting a fully hollow construction with a 16" lower bout, this feels in hand authentic towards the specifications of '60s-era ES-175 models. A nice slim neck is present, and thanks to a low action, plays effortlessly. At some stage this example has had its original tuners replaced with a set of Grovers as well as the Tune-O-Matic bridge having been replaced.

Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing standard play wear and minor dings throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. No case or gig bag included.
