1990s Fender CIJ ST57 Stratocaster Faded Lake Placid Blue

This particular sample dates somewhere between 1997 to 2000, and is finished in what we believe to be a faded lake placid blue. The CIJ models followed the MIJ models in the 1990s, and continued the great tradition of Fender Japan craftsmanship whilst offering a diverse catalog. This example would have originally had gold plating to the hardware which has now appeared to have oxidised and faded. Otherwise, your standard fare for a Stratocaster of this time. Basswood body and maple neck with the small headstock and comfortable 'medium c' shape neck.
Cosmetic condition is fair with play wear present throughout and some discolouration present on plastic parts. The volume control has a crack through it, but it is glued and holding together fine. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a gig bag.
